It can be daunting to move into a new home and figure out how to decorate it for the holidays. While many people might have an old home’s worth of decorations, I moved from an apartment to a 4100 square foot home. I am very lucky, but also had a lot of decisions to make. As with most things with this home, I reminded myself that not all decisions need to be made right now. So, I’ve set out to add a little bit every year. Last year, I got a tree and decorations for it. This year, I got a pencil tree, mantle decorations, paper decorations for the stairways, and candles for the fireplace. These little additions made the home feel more festive and cozy this year. Little by little, this castle is becoming a home. Here are some of the highlights.
